With this Newsletter I extend to you two invitations.
The first is to the Country Fair scheduled for October 11th. This event, which has been taking place for twenty nine years, and lately twice a year, has always been a well attended family outing with good food, interesting shopping, wholesome atmosphere and the fall colors! We thank the Friends of the Adornos for keeping it going all these years and we invite new people to become part of the F.O.T.A. family. Come and give us a hand just a couple of times a year. You may derive a great deal of satisfaction in serving the thousands of people who attend our Fairs , and, what counts more, you will be helping our seminarians here at St. Michael's House of Studies.
The other invitation is to the monthly Eucharistic Adoration in our chapel for all our friends. This hour of prayer is followed by another, if you can stay, for fellowship and light refreshments. It is really during this informal time that you get to talk longer with friends and to know our seminarians better. It has been suggested that we change the night of the Adoration to a Wednesday evening as less conflicting with other schedules. So we look forward to seeing a larger turnout on Wednesday, September 30th at 7 p.m.
Even if you cannot work at the Fair or participate in our monthly Adoration, we appreciate your interest in what we are doing at St. Michaels' House of Studies. We always look forward to hearing from you and again we reassure you of our continued remembrance of your intentions in our prayers
